Individually designed separates

Melanie has been making clothes for me and my family for 10 years! For all sorts of occasions! The special outfits- wedding outfits, bridesmaids dresses, the big birthdays, the grand dinner- and the more everyday - the perfect skirt, jacket and dress. The experience is always hugely positive - from the initial shop to find the material ( the positive response to my enthusiastic discovery of some unusual material, can you make a dress for me from that? to the fittings, the wonderful and unique details on her creations, her immediate solutions to any concerns I might have and - finally, and most important - the actual wearing of her clothes and the huge compliments they receive. Commissioning clothes from Melanie is an experience not a purchase. I strongly recommend it!

Melanie did an outstanding job in creating a shrug to fit over the bodice of my wedding dress. Having consulted with Melanie over several weeks regarding the design of the shrug, I then very last minute (1 week before the wedding !) changed my mind on the design of the shrug. Melanie was not in the least bit phased by this and was incredibly accommodating in producing THE most beautiful garment despite the time constraints! I absolutely loved it, as did all the wedding guests!. I shall certainly be returning for further outfits in the future.

Melanie has been making clothes for me for a number of years and I have always been delighted with whatever she has done. Not only is Melanie a very talented seamstress with a professional eye for detail, she is also very good at suggesting designs for each outfit which are tailored to you personally.
