Fabulous! As good as her online reviews say... Melanie just couldn't have been nicer or more professional to work with. She helped me with my initial choice of fabric and, despite a relatively short timeframe, managed to produce (seemingly effortlessly, although I know that wasn't the case!) the dress I had in mind to wear at my nephew's wedding. It was of course greatly admired. I totally trust her and would go back to her in a heartbeat. Thank you so much, Melanie - you're the best!

Dress of my dreams - Melanie has made me a dress which I dreamt of having for sometime. It is a masterpiece - a work of art really. Beautifully made and I have received many compliments. She sourced the perfect fabrics.

Stunning - This was my first visit to Melanie after being neighbours 40 years ago! She knew exactly the style and materials for me, for my son's country wedding. I was absolutely thrilled with the finished jacket and dress with matching clutch bag in the same material! I was so proud on the very special occasion. It was all so beautifully finished even down to the bra-strap loops! If another important occasion arose I would definitely return to Melanie for another stunning outfit.

I contacted Melanie after reading many of the fantastic reviews she'd received. With only 3 weeks until a good friend's wedding, she very kindly agreed to design a dress based on a photo I'd been carrying around for months. Melanie bought beautiful navy Thai silk fabric on my behalf and after 2 fittings I walked away with exactly the dress I'd wanted with plenty of time to spare. I love it and have received lots of compliments. Melanie was lovely to deal with and I absolutely recommend her work. Many thanks to her for my perfect dress.

Melanie is wonderful. She helped me (as fussy perfectionist) to choose the right fabric and was then so patient with the design of 3 dress and jacket outfits in 2015. All fitted like a glove and were hugely admired. Do not hesitate to call her for something special at a sensible price.

When I began my search for an outfit, to wear to my daughter’s wedding, a friend suggested that I make an appointment to see Melanie. My friend had been to two weddings, where the mother of the bride had been dressed by Melanie, and she had been very impressed by both outfits. I took two of my favourite dresses with me, to my first meeting with Melanie, to give her an idea of the styles that I liked. Melanie drew some amazing sketches. The design was decided and we headed into London to buy fabric together. Three fittings later and I had my beautiful, unique dress, which fitted me perfectly. Melanie also recommended a milliner and helped in the choice of hat, which was stunning, too. Melanie is highly skilled, very professional and a pleasure to work with. The quality of the workmanship, in my outfit, is exquisite and I highly recommend her.

My daughter is getting married in South Africa so what to wear? I met Melanie and was thrilled to find someone who would design a dress I could never find in the shops. The minute we met I knew I would be safe in her hands! Melanie drew sketches and we decided on a design, We then went off to choose and buy the fabric. She is an expert with the pins and after three fittings I was able to take my beautiful dress home en route for Capetown. Melanie is very professional and friendly and full of ideas. I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone. I will definitely be back.
